Over the weekend I paid a visit to one of my regular haunts Tin Barn Market and I picked up an old wooden yardstick originally from a paint store in Toronto. I decided a while ago I would like to start a collection of them. As this is my first one for now I have put it on a small wall at the bottom of my stairs that has always needed something. Over time I will move it around when it finds some friends! These old wooden rulers have been around forever and people have now realised how versatile they can be. Don't just use them to measure, why not try one of these great ideas? Amazing buffet with yardstick front, great handles and display. Found here Creativespotting.comStarburst yardstick mirror, great DIY. You could also use paint stir sticks. Let me know if you see any yardsticks or other cool collectibles.
